Pre-owned, excellent condition Rolex GMT-Master reference 16700 Stainless Steel gents wristwatch. Black dial, date display at 3, a Stainless Steel 40mm case, unidirectional rotatable bezel with a black insert, winder, Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp, sapphire crystal glass, automatic movement and waterproof up to 100m. This watch has a serial: U81XXXX and was produced in 1998.
This watch has the 'Swiss Only' dial, which was produced in a short window in the late 1990s, specifically between 1998 and 1999. The "Swiss Only" dial refers to the text at the 6 o'clock position on the dial that simply states "SWISS," without "T < 25" or "Swiss Made." This marking was used briefly during Rolex's transition from tritium lume (used up until around 1998) to LumiNova, a non-radioactive luminescent material.
This watch comes with the Rolex papers dated 1998, manuals, leather paper holder, box and Rolex service papers from a 2010 overhaul. The watch also comes with our Watch Collectors 24 Months Warranty.
